I'm Danny. A little bit about me:
I'm a native New Yorker, who's lived in Connecticut, spent a majority of my life in the Desert in Arizona, and I've been to a few places here and there when I was in the military. I'm 27, an avid beer drinker, I speak in movie quotes, I'm someone who cannot say no to any opportunity that comes up, my friends are like family, and I'm the most stubborn person I know.
I would have to say that my life has been one heck of a journey. Just like everyone else out there, it has been a roller coaster, and I love riding the ups and downs of it. Each ride, contributing to making me stronger and not afraid of the next slope to come. Each lesson learned, another box checked on my list of things I can look back on and thank for making me who I am today.
I am one of seven kids total in my family and even more friends that are like family to me. I spend my free time planning my next trip, hiking, going on a drive, hitting the shooting range, watching movies, watching motivational videos, or reading the most random articles to learn more. I'm a closet nerd and an even bigger hopeless romantic. LaLa Land is one of my favorite movies, but then I can turn around and watch Saving Private Ryan because it's another one of my favorite movies.
I have always loved to travel, but didn't ever think that traveling as a hobby could be possible, unless you traveled for work. I always admired business men and women who traveled for work, until I realized that they didn't have the time to really enjoy and explore where they had traveled to. There was a conversation one evening with my mom, and another with a good friend, that made me realize that I just needed to get up and go. That evening changed my life and I learned two valuable things.
- First, that life is short and "tomorrow is promised to no one".
- Second, that "life begins at the edge of your comfort zone".

My goal in life is to see every corner of the world, explore all of it's beauty, and the wonderful things it has to offer us. Life is too short not to live it to the fullest, not to wander, not to explore all there is to be seen.
Go out. Travel the world. Wander into places unknown. Explore all there is to be seen.
I can't wait to see you out there.
Traveling all over the Italian countryside in 10 days is one hell of a feat. Tony and I managed to make our way from Milan when we first landed, down the western coast of the country to Moterosso, then to Pisa, off to Rome, afterwards to Naples, then to Pompeii, on to the Amalfi coast, then up through the Tuscany region, and finally off to Venice and Verona before finishing up and heading back to Milan.
In August 2017, my friend's Katherine and Andrew were married in Times Square. Being in my 20's, I have been to a lot of weddings in the last few years, but this was by far the best wedding I have ever been to. The trip to New York was amazing with some of my favorite people and the reception is what most people would dream about. The ambiance, the people, the scenery. A memory I will never forget.
San Diego is one of my favorite spots. It's the most relaxing environment, the weather is always perfect there, there are some amazing restaurants, and no shortage of good times. Celebrating America, while relaxing on the beach, enjoying a cold one, and eating burgers and hot dogs...that's the dream. That, along with my best friend Tony and my niece (aka cousin) Kristie harassing me trying to burn my boots all weekend long, made for a great time.
With Corona time striking us here in the US, this is the time to keep active and healthy while social distancing from others. This year will be the year to go out, explore the mountains, and take some amazing shots of the wonderful landscape that Phoenix has to offer. Later on this year, the Grand Canyon and Zion are going to be a must, as well as possibly hitting up Denver with some of their mountains.
There have been a lot of trips planned for 2020 and slowly but surely, they are all being cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The only trips that were accomplished were Denver in January and Seattle in February, but there were a few that have had to have been cancelled. Mexico in March, Thailand in May, and Mexico again in June. There are some trips that are slotted for later this year, but everything is pending due to the status of the quarantine currently. Some of the future planned trips are San Diego in July, New York in November, and Nicaragua in December. We will see if these trips pan out the way they are supposed to.
This will be the year to start seeing all the small businesses that Phoenix has to offer. From restaurants, bike shops, craft stores, clothing shops, candy stores, and home goods. With how much small businesses have been affected, they are what everyone should be supporting and exploring this year.
